The Alaska Avalanche needed to add production value to their existing webcast of home games in their home ice arena. Powder Ridge Productions explored options to fit their budget to produce the highest quality production possible. In doing so, we helped facilitate upgrades at the Avalanche home ice (MTA Events Center, Palmer) including the construction of a new broadcast booth, instalation of CCTVs, and an electronic information screen at the front entrance. Powder Ridge designed and built a dynamic light show for player introductions at Avalanche home games. We also coordinated talent needed for the production of games including on-air announcing, in rink PA and webstream production specialists. Finally, Powder Ridge Productions produced a number of TV and Movie Theatre advertisements for the Alaska Avalanche.
MTA came to us looking to enhance the coverage of local sports for their On-Demand TV service. Powder Ridge Productions answered with multi-angle camera coverage of the Region III soccer tournament in 2011. Since then, Powder Ridge Productions has been working with MTA to bring their viewers exclusive coverage of High School sporting events, as well as other special interest events to their local channel 310. We have also worked with MTA to bring many of those events to audiences around the world via LIVE webstreaming with the look and feel of National Network TV.
